About Me.

With a love and a practice of yoga that spans more than a decade and a half, Stella decided to become a teacher in 2005 to share this passion with others!  She is now a 500hour registered Yoga Teacher after having completed both Levels 1 and 2 of study with internationally renowned teachers of vinyasa, power & yin yoga.

She first came to the mat after enrolling in a 6 week beginners course with her mum - 6 weeks came and went, her mum didn't return but something had been ignited in Stella! 
The calm feeling and centred place she discovered with yoga helped to shift the anxiety and depression that had been a close neighbour for most of her life - and was also to be her saving grace as she held down a fast paced day job as a National Publicist in the music industry during the day, and taught yoga at night.  This connected feeling was also what eventually drew her full time to the life-changing hum of the yoga studio.

Stella has trained with diverse teachers such as Mark Breadner (Aus), Baron Baptiste (US), Katie Manitsas (UK) and Simon Low (UK) and has gathered over 1000 hours of study. Her classes are dynamic and *fun*, with an emphasis on movement and breath. She brings her classes alive by encouraging students to challenge themselves, their bodies and minds - whether that is through a strong flow class, or a grounded meditation to find inner awareness.

Stella's goal as a yoga teacher and ever-learning yoga student? To help others and herself find the freedom, grace and love in and for their own bodies and minds. She believes yoga is for everyone who wants to shine from the inside out. As Henry James says, "It's time to start living the life you've imagined!"
