Asana for 2?

Lately I've been encorporating more partner work into my open yoga classes. Particularly in classes where you have been working with the students for a while and they are more comfortable with the familiar faces around them, partner yoga can add a new dimension to their yoga experience. While practising on a mat and working through various poses is definitely inspiring, bending deeper into a pose or twist when working with partners is definitely something all students can enjoy. While we tend to bring the awareness into our own minds and bodies in yoga, partnering up with those around us helps us to reach out to others.... and it will also often bring some renewed energy to the group, as people make introductions and share a laugh. Good news is that I'm starting a yoga class at Newtown Gym this Friday evening (6.30 to 7.30pm) that is open to the public, all levels. Would love to see you there! Namaste, x
